Content Management and E-commerce websites

Content Management System

Our content management system (CMS) has been constantly redeveloped and refined over the past 3 years to make it as user friendly as possible while still having all the features necessary to run a fully updateable website. These features include

• Secure administration area
• Multiple administrators with varying access priviliges
• Log of all admin logins and changes made
• Edit content on existing pages including changing images and text styles
• Easy to use WYSIWYG editor
• Create new pages based on a choice of page templates
• Write news articles for news page and RSS newsfeed
• Updateable navigation menu
• Set pages online/offline at any time

This is not an extensive list since we create bespoke systems with many unique features to suit unusual requirements, in the past we have added calendars, booking systems, messageboards and video galleries to our CMS so if you need something slightly different we can almost certainly accomodate.

E-Commerce System

Our E-commerce systems have also had recent improvements in useability and functionality and are in use in a variety of online shops all with their own unique requirements. Standard e-commerce features include:

• Upload new products with images
• Amend existing products, change prices, desriptions, images
• Shop can be divided into categories, create new categories at will
• Set categories and products offline at any time
• Order management - view and manage orders

Please note: although we have separated the CMS and E-commerce features above this is not how they work in practice. They are essentially one large website control system and you can pick and choose which bits you require.
